10 or 12 ply Yarn in Red, White and Green
5.5mm and 5mm Crochet Hook (Teen/Small Adult Size), 6mm and 5.5mm (Medium Adult Size), (Use same Hooks for Large size plus 1 to 2 extra increase and white rounds)
Stitch markers
Scissors
Tapestry needle
White Pom
Hat
42. Ribbed Brim
Change to 5 mm hook. (C3 Yarn should still be attached to end of round 41)
1. ch 9, sc in second ch from hook, sc in remaining ch, (8sc) sl st into sc from round 41, sl st again to start next row, turn.
2. sc in back loops to end, (8sc) turn, ch 1.
3. sc in back loops to end, sl into sc from round 41, sl again to start next row. Turn
4. Continue row 2 and 3 to end. Join, tie off and weave in ends. Attach Pom and you’re done.
